On last year’s Outback adventure, we had a couple of nights in Narrabri on the way back to Sydney, and one of the attractions with photo potential was the Pilliga Sandstone Caves in the Pilliga National Park.
Our two night stay in Narrabri was a reprieve from the two days on the road to get here so we enjoyed the more relaxed time we had in Narrabri, and in particular the discovery of the best Pub we have seen in a long time, The Tourist Hotel.
It was newly renovated when we got there, and the owner who introduced himself to us, proudly showed us around the entire Hotel including the accommodation, which is where we will stay on our next visit that is for sure. The best part however is the food, as this place does some of the best Pub food you are ever likely to encounter. But I digress…
