The Kookaburra

Taking the opportunity to get out from lockdown once again, I headed out to Middle Head, not too far from where I was the previous day shooting the Lizard in Georges Head. The wind on this day was ridiculously strong, but I managed to get this Kookaburra while resting in between gusts of wind.

As I only had my 70-200mm lens with me, I had to physically move closer than I would if I had the 200-600mm on hand, but the Kookaburra did not move away so I got lucky. At times he was staring down at me, looking me right in the eye.
