Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a large sandstone rock formation located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is sacred to the Indigenous Anangu people and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Uluru is around 348 meters tall and its base circumference is about 9.4 kilometers. It is a popular tourist destination and is famous for its red color, especially during sunrise and sunset.
This particular image was taken mid afternoon and a little further back than usual, in April 2023 on what was my second visit to ‘the rock’.
