Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a large sandstone rock formation located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is sacred to the Indigenous Anangu people and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Uluru is around 348 meters tall and its base circumference is about 9.4 kilometers. It is a popular tourist destination and is famous for its red color, especially during sunrise and sunset.
This particular image was taken mid afternoon, in April 2023 on what was my second visit to ‘the rock’.
