Kookaburras

Still putting the Tamron 150-500mm lens through its paces down in the bushland of Georges Head, I had more Kookaburras that sat watching me as I spent about ten minutes photographing them in various locations.

Once again, the winds were blowing strongly so this was to be a great test of the abilities of the stabilisation of the Tamron lens and the Sony A7R IV combination. Hit rate was once again very high with this combination, proving the new Tamron 150-500mm lens as a very capable performer.

Photographed using

Kookaburras

The Kookaburras in the Georges Head area are very tolerant of people with big lenses getting pretty close to them, at times I was only 4 feet away, they were not phased at all.
